Depolarize with Better Angels
Learn to discuss politics to Listen and Learn, not Argue and Convince
Better Angels is a bipartisan citizen's movement to unify our divided nation. Through Skills workshops and bringing Red and Blue Americans together in a working alliance, we're building new ways to talk to one another, participate together in public life, and influence the direction of the nation.
For the first time, these workshops are being offered at St. Martin's Episcopal Church, 1333 Jamestown Rd. on January 18 and 19, 2019.
The Skills workshop is two and a half hours and meant for learning as a large group. It will be held from 6:30 - 9:30 p.m. on Friday, January 18 in Miles Hall at St. Martin's.
The Red / Blue workshop is from 9:30 - 5:30 on Saturday, January 19 in the Choir Room at St. Martin's. Only 14 people participate in this workshop, 7 Red / right-leaning people and 7 Blue/ left-leaning people. Observers are allowed in small numbers.
Registration is done through Eventbrite. Workshops are free and questions may be referred to the organizer.
