Dreams Gymnastics Center Ends Inaugural Season by Taking SIX to the National Championships in Reno, Nevada!

Dreams Gymnastics Center ended their inaugural competitive season by bringing six of their gymnasts to Reno, Nevada to compete in the 2018 Trampoline & Tumbling National Championship Meet, July 20th-22nd. A big congratulations goes out to Evan Moore, Ayanna Moore and Martin Yordanov for each bringing home a gold medal and to Desislava Yordanova for bringing home a bronze medal! In addition, other noteworthy achievements go out to Naomi McGinnis and Madison Walk who both brought home ribbons from the national competition.

Dreams Gymnastics Center opened its doors to a brand new facility in January of 2018. They boast a 12,000 square foot facility with state-of-the-art equipment, located in Toano, Virginia. Dreams runs a Competitive Program (Women's Artistic and Co-Ed Trampoline & Tumbling) as well as a Recreational Program. In addition to the success of Dreams' Trampoline & Tumbling Team at Nationals, Dreams' Artistic Team also ended its first competitive season with some big highlights. At the State Championship Meet for the Xcel Silver Division - Leah Gibbs was an all-around champion and 1st on vault and floor, Sofia Accardi placed 2nd all-around and 1st on vault and beam, Elyse Moore placed 3rd all-around and 1st on beam. Also, Morgan Walk and Ava Atanasov both finished 6th all-around; Olivia Elliott placed 11th all-around; Evelyn Trost placed 12th all-round. In the Junior Olympic Levels - Desislava Yordanova (Level 10) and Jocelyn Covaney (Level 9) both earned spots to compete at the Regional Meet! At the State Championship Meet, Jordan Booker, Level 4, placed 6th all-around and 2nd on floor, and Brianna Rowsey, Level 5, was awarded 16th place all-around. Madison Walk (9th all-around) and Madeline Sipe (11th all-around), both competed at the Level 6 State Championship Meet. Jocelyn Covaney, Level 9, placed 19th on the floor exercise at the State Championship Meet and Desi Yordanova, Level 10, placed 9th all-around at the same meet.
