Dave Gamble, Commander of the Williamsburg Flotilla, U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, and Jeff Fratter, President of of the Williamsburg Chapter of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association, stand at ease after Gamble's presentation at the chapter's April 9 luncheon. Gamble's talk, supplemented with exciting video of Coast Guard cutters, helicopters, and personnel in action, described the many missions of the U.S. Coast Guard and explained how the Coast Guard Auxiliary supports full-time, active-duty personnel and helps them carry out those missions. NARFE's Williamsburg Chapter meets regularly on the second Tuesday of the month at the Colonial Heritage Restaurant, 6620 Arthur Hills Drive, Williamsburg.
