Endview Plantation Hosting Wreath Making Workshops

Decorate grapevine wreaths using nature's bounty at upcoming workshops offered by the Peninsula Master Naturalists and the Newport News Master Gardeners at Endview Plantation. In addition to making a wreath, participants will also learn about nineteenth century techniques and materials used to decorate for the holidays. The $15.00 workshop fee includes all materials including a grapevine wreath handmade from vines growing on Endview's property. A tour of the historic house museum highlighting eighteenth and nineteenth century holiday traditions concludes each session. The workshop will be offered twice on Saturday December 1, one session from 10 am to 12 pm and an additional session from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm. Another session will be offered on Sunday December 9 from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm. The last session will be held Saturday December 15 from 10 am to 12 pm. Advance registration is required and can be made by calling 757-887-1862 or emailing endview@nnva.gov.
