February Mission Emphasis at Walnut Hills Baptist

In February, Women on Mission groups at Walnut Hills Baptist Church, 1014 Jamestown Road, will focus on local, national and international missions. All ladies' mission groups will meet on Tuesday, Feb. 13. The "Annette Hall" group will make blankets for Sentara Hospice Care. Their namesake, Annette Hall, a retired missionary, will be their guest. "Helping Hands" will volunteer at Latisha's House. The Acteens and Jane's GA's who meet after church on Sundays, will volunteer at a local nursing home.

Women on Mission will conduct the entire Sunday, February 11th worship service. The speaker will be Jan Tompkins, the mother of a missionary who is serving in the Amazon. On Saturday, Feb. 17, a Children's Mission Day will be held in the church's Hospitality Center from 10 a.m. to noon. All children are invited to attend to learn about missions and to work on projects that will be contributed to a local mission outreach.

For Publication on the Sat., Feb. 3 "church page". Thank you!
