Golf Tournament for Homeless Veterans

On March 2nd and 3rd, a 9 hole charity golf tournament will be held at Revolution Golf and Grill in benefit Aid Our Veterans, a 501c3 charity committed to ending homelessness among veterans. According to government statistics, there are over 40,000 homeless veterans, male and female, on the street and 22 will commit suicide every day - a national disgrace. They are offering prize money of over $3,000, free hot dogs both days all day and an awards banquet. The cost is only $50 per person for a team of two and we will be playing the Pebble Beach course on the golf simulators.. We also have a few hole sponsorships available for only $200. Sponsors will have space at the sponsors table to display merchandise and hand out promotional material. Please come for a great time and a great cause. None of us would be here today if not for the sacrifices of the American military or we might be speaking German or Japanese or Russian. If you have a question call me at 804 240 2471.

About 1000 homeless veterans came to receive warm clothing, food, health care, counseling and a hug. Several members of the Williamsburg community donated items to the event, Brooks Bothers, Walmart, Harris Teeter, New Balance, Trader Joes, Talbots, Anne Taylor, Fresh Market, Olde Towne Pharmacy, and members of the Wellspring Methodist Church.
