Hospice House & Support Care of Williamsburg (HHSCW) Offers Tours to the Public

WILLIAMSBURG - Volunteer-led tours of the Hospice House & Support Care of Williamsburg, located at 4445 Powhatan Parkway will be held between 12-2PM the first Thursday of each month beginning May 3. All community members, businesses, organizations and civic groups are invited to tour the house and our 11 acre grounds. These informal tours will include information about the multi-faceted end of life programs offered to support all individuals and families in our community at no cost.

"At Hospice House we understand that end of life can be a scary, isolating event. Our organization is here to provide a multi-faceted approach to end of life that brings compassion, dignity and comfort to families. We want them to know we are here for them when they need us," said Executive Director, Audrey Smith.

Upcoming tour dates are: May 3, June 7, July 5, August 2 and September 6.

Hospice House & Support Care of Williamsburg is a social-model hospice that provides physical, emotional, social and spiritual support to enhance the quality of living for individuals facing the last phases of life and the people who love them. The Hospice House itself is a spacious residence that is a home away from home for our guests and their families. Support care services range from companionship in families' homes to extensive bereavement programs provided to families throughout the community. Hospice House & Support Care of Williamsburg is a 501(c)(3) organization that is entirely funded by contributions. No family or individual ever receives a bill for our services and support; nor do we accept Medicare, Medicaid or other reimbursements.
