It Takes a Village to Build a Habitat Home

A group of seniors from Williamsburg Baptist Church provided thirty-six valuable volunteer hours to Habitat for Humanity's ReStore on Jamestown Road in Williamsburg. Nine spirited volunteers spent four hours sorting, polishing, and bagging hardware, as well as restocking shelves. Powered by a willingness to serve and with energy restored by some brownies and cookies, these senior members of our community put into action the Biblical belief that we are all called to serve. Their efforts are making the dream of purchasing affordable housing a reality for local families.
