Fire Chief Ryan Ashe briefed the James City Lions Club members at a June 28th breakfast meeting. Ashe explained that the JC County, York County and Williamsburg Fire Departments work closely together to provide both fire and emergency medical services as needed in the communities. Further, Ashe expressed appreciation for the more than 60 volunteer firefighters that support the 150 full time employees in the James City County Fire Department.
