James City Lions conduct highly successful charity golf tourney

The James City Lions Club held their annual fund raising golf tournament recently at the Ford's Colony Country Club. A lunch and raffles followed the golf. Lion Mike Jaskowiak was the winner of the $1,000 grand prize charity raffle. Funds raised in this effort go back into the Greater Williamsburg community with focus on the Lions core mission of sight, hearing and diabetes. The JC Lions wish to thank our Premier Sponsors: Chesapeake Bank, Chesapeake Wealth Management, Fireside Chophouse and Holiday Chevrolet and Cadillac. Additionally, we thank our 54 hole sponsors, the numerous businesses and individuals that supported this tournament and the Ford's Colony Country Club staff. Pictured (from left) are the tournament co-chairs Lions Don Martin and Larry Bartholomew.
