James City Lions support Roc Solid Foundation in fight against childhood cancer.

Eight James City Lions recently traveled to Chesapeake, Virginia, Headquarters of Roc Solid Foundation, to assemble "Ready Bags" which will be gifted to children diagnosed with cancer. Earlier this year, the JC Lions Club presented a grant of $2,200 to the Roc Solid Foundation to procure the "Ready Bags". The bags were assembled under the careful supervision of Roc Solid personnel. Combating childhood cancer is now one of the missions of Lions worldwide. Lions project officer for this initiative was Jack Trotter (not pictured).
