Brad Rinehimer, James City County Chief of Police, recently spoke to the Kiwanis Club of Colonial Capital. In his talk, Brad described the jurisdiction of the JCC police force, the interactions with neighboring law enforcement and the crime situation in the greater Williamsburg area. He said that James City County is fortunate to have a lower incidence of crime than some surrounding areas and the Commonwealth of Virginia in general. He and his officers are dedicated to upholding an atmosphere of good community relations. Hal Metcalfe, club member and program host, described Brad's impressive background which has included military service, attainment of bachelors and masters degrees, and significant FBI recognition and training.
