Jenna Grace King Memorial Scholarship Awarded to War Hill Student

Each year Proclaiming Grace Outreach offers three $1,000 Scholarships to local students. This year, one was selected from War Hill High School and the other two students were from New Kent High School. To date, Proclaiming Grace Outreach, a local non - profit organization whose mission is to help those in need of food, clothing and small home repair, has awarded $20,000 to the students of New Kent and James City Counties.

This year Allison Clough from War Hill High School was selected to receive $1,000 towards her future education. The recent graduate maintained a 3.966 G.P.A. and plans to attend Mary Baldwin University in the fall. The Jenna Grace King Memorial Scholarship will allow Allison the opportunity to better the community and her future education.

The first Saturday in August, Proclaiming Grace Outreach is hosting it's largest annual fundraiser known as The Jenna Bash Festival. The event is held at Rockahock Campground in Lanexa, VA. To find out more about their missions, upcoming events, how to get involved, and how to lend support; go to
