Jim Icenhour, Chairman of the James City County Board of Supervisors, recently addressed the Kiwanis Club of Colonial Capital. In his talk, Jim described the impact of population growth on our community, the critical issues that the Board is addressing (water, development, schools) and the budget for the new fiscal year. The major source of income for the County is tax revenue and the predominant line item expense is schools. Prior to his retirement, and subsequent election to the Board of Supervisors, Jim served multiple tours of duty as an Air Force combat pilot and then as a commercial airline pilot. He lives in Ford's Colony with his wife Linda.
