Kiwanis Club learns about Chose Home

Heather Schouten, Senior Advisor for Chose Home which is part of Riverside's Lifelong Health Division, recently spoke to the Kiwanis Club of Colonial Capital. Heather, accompanied by Charlie Martino, Services Coordinator, described the challenges facing seniors as they age and begin to require programs that can support them as their lifestyle and health need change. Riverside's Chose Home program offers an alternative "security blanket" to enable clients to remain in their homes for as long as possible. Heather has worked with a variety of health organizations in her 17 years in the field: large health care systems, small community hospitals, a health care technology company and a medical device startup. She is using the expertise she developed over the years to assist seniors to proactively plan for what lies ahead.
