The Saint Bede Catholic Church Knights of Columbus and Ancient Order of Hibernians are restocking the food pantry, Healthy Families clothing items, Harbor Day Shelter for the Homeless, and offices of Williamsburg House of Mercy as they move back into their renovated space. Williamsburg House of Mercy had been operating out of storage containers in the parking lot and temporary office spaces in the basement of their building while it was under construction.
The Williamsburg House of Mercy will host open houses in April and May to welcome the community into their recently renovated spaces. The renovation was in response to increased need in the community and the many programs that simultaneously serve the Williamsburg area, including: Mercy Housing, Harbor Day Shelter for the Homeless, Grace Haven Family Shelter, New Journey Re-Entry, Hope Pregnancy Center, Healthy Families, Financial Assistance & Outreach, Food Security and Community Meals.
