Lions learn about documentaries

At a March 28th breakfast meeting, James City Lions were briefed on the National Endowment of the Humanities with focus on the roadmap of how video documentaries get funded and produced. Tom Phelps, who was director of programs for the NEH, said it takes an average of 6 years before a proposed documentary is set for television viewing.
