Local Cleveland Browns Fan Group Supports NATASHA House

The Virginia Peninsula Browns Backers recently completed their most enjoyable football season in over a decade. The group of local men and women are fans of the NFL's Cleveland Browns, a team that improved by 7 wins in 2018. But wins weren't their only measure of success this season.

The Browns Backers are active in the community as well, choosing to support Yorktown's NATASHA House with their fundraising efforts, which this year totaled an even $1,000.

NATASHA ("New Alternative Toward A Secure Home Atmosphere") House is a safe place for women and children that allows them to rebuild productive, thriving lives as they transition from homelessness to permanent housing. NATASHA House provides both residential and outreach program services that minister to a mother and her children's physical, emotional, educational, and psychological needs. NATASHA House also supports local men with their outreach program services.

Virginia Peninsula Browns Backers President Bill Taylor said, "We are proud to support NATASHA House and we look forward to continuing our relationship with this important organization in the future."

If you'd like to learn more about the local Browns Backers, join them for any Browns game at the Bay Haven Grille, 6500 George Washington Memorial Highway, Yorktown, VA. Fans of all teams are welcome.
