Joe Boyd, Jalen Christian, Sean Conners, Brigitte Hunnicutt, Taylor Hudgins, CJ Montero, and Dylan Wigley have been appointed financial representative interns; Christine McBeath has taken on the role of the marketing intern for Northwestern Mutual, Virginia Peninsula Group in Williamsburg, VA.
The financial representative internship program is a nationally recognized program that has been voted a Vault Top 20 internship. This program will allow interns to gain experience and be exposed to areas involving financial planning and the importance of care to clients and accounts. The marketing internship program supports the financial representative internship program by highlighting it on various social media platforms including Instagram and Facebook.
Joe Boyd, a junior at James Madison University, is majoring in Sports and Recreation Management. Originally from Williamsburg, VA, Boyd is a founding father of the Phi Kappa colony at JMU which is heavily involved with the Livestrong Foundation.
Jalen Christian is a senior Kinesiology and Health Sciences major at the College of the William and Mary. Christian has made a name for himself in athletics on the Tribe's football team as a wide receiver. Prior to coming to Williamsburg, he grew up in Damascus, Maryland.
Sean Conners is a first year Commerce major and Public Policy minor at the University of the Virginia. Having roots in the Poquoson area of Virginia, Conners has been able to stay active on the UVA campus by taking part in Model United Nations.
Brigitte Hunnicutt is a rising junior at Virginia Tech majoring in Finance. Prior to attending school in Blacksburg, Hunnicutt grew up in Hampton, Virginia. Outside of her studies, she is involved in the Eta Omicron chapter of the Alpha Phi sorority.
Taylor Hudgins is a native of Richmond, Virginia, and she recently has graduated from Christopher Newport University with a degree in Communications. Hudgins has spent all four of years at CNU on the women's soccer team where three of those four years led to NCAA Tournament births.
CJ Montero is a Williamsburg native, and a junior at the University of Virginia studying Economics and Social Entrepreneurship. Outside of being involved in Christian Fellowship Chi Alpha, he also participates in club golf and a community service group called Friends for Life at UVA.
Dylan Wigley is studying Political Science and Legal Studies at Virginia Tech. While at Tech, he is a chairman for his fraternity that primarily focuses on community service. Originally from Williamsburg, he has been able to get prior work experience in the area as a clerk at a local law office.
Christine McBeath, a native of Williamsburg, is a junior majoring in Finance at St. John's University in New York City. During her time there, she has played on the women's soccer team, and she also has taken a role on the Student Athlete Advisory Committee.
