Opportunity to serve as a Board Member for the Colonial Soil and Water Conservation District

Looking for an opportunity to support conservation efforts for your community. The Colonial Soil and Water Conservation District serves Charles City, James City, New Kent, and York Counties, and the City of Williamsburg. The District area covers approximately 660 square miles, reaching a total population of over 175,000. The District is an organization of fellow citizens elected by their localities to provide technical assistance, cost-share funding, education, and research for a wide variety of soil and water conservation projects. Campaign registration for the 2019 election cycle is underway! Two directors from each locality, elected during the general election, will serve on the Colonial SWCD Board of Directors for a term of 4 years.
