This past Wednesday, February 13, 2019, the Rotary Club of the Historic Triangle held its annual Valentine's Luncheon where all rotarians were encouraged to bring their spouse or significant other. Our room at the Colonial Heritage Golf Club, which is always beautiful, was decorated for the event and music was provided by our Rotarian DJ, Liz Daley of Liz Daley Events. During a wonderful 3 course meal, our speaker, Danny Sullivan from Crosswalk Church gave us some encouraging words on keys to a long and happy marriage. This was very bold as Danny has only been married to his wife Erica for 14 years and at least four couples in attendance had been married for 40+ years! Pictured is our club president Tom Bozek presenting the book that will be placed in the Williamsburg Regional Library in Danny's honor for speaking. How appropriate that the title is "Making a Friend". The Rotary Club of The Historic Triangle meets every Wednesday from noon to one o'clock at Colonial Heritage Golf Club and they are always looking to make new friends!
