Presbyterian Women Send Supplies to Honduran Girls

The Presbyterian Women group of Yorkminster Presbyterian Church, Yorktown, produced 50 packages of supplies this summer for girls in the Central American nation of Honduras. Girls in developing nations like Honduras often have no access to feminine hygiene products, and miss several days of school each month as a result. The packages contained feminine supplies, underwear, soap and washcloths. They were delivered by a Living Waters mission team from Yorkminster that went to Honduras to help install a water purification system that provides a village with clean drinking water.
