Habitat for Humanity is humbled and honored that Prince Richard, Britain's Duke of Gloucester, and a cousin of Queen Elizabeth, took time out of his very busy schedule to visit the Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Williamsburg last Wednesday, May 23. The Duke of Gloucester is involved in the work of Habitat for Humanity Great Britain, where he serves as a Royal Patron. He was extremely interested in seeing one of the top-producing Habitat ReStores in the United States and inquired about many of the furnishings of the Habitat ReStore during his tour. Prince Richard even greeted members of the Habitat Board of Directors, staff, volunteers, as well as many surprised customers!
