Rotary club described our communities "Hospice of Williamsburg” services

Audrey B Smith, Executive Director of Williamsburg Hospice House, hosted by Will Hummel, described the services in detail that are provided by the "Hospice of Williamsburg" provided to individuals living in Williamsburg, James City County, or some upper York County. Mrs. Smith noted that the Hospice House service, that was founded in 1982, is a nonprofit charitable organization by lay and professional volunteers to enhance the quality of living for individuals facing the last phases of life and to support the people they love. She recognized that several of our Williamsburg club rotarians are proud to provide "service above self" and supports Hospice House through community Hospice Walk, fundraising, and even serving on the board. The photo shows (l-r) Will Hummel, Audrey Smith, and club president Chris Eckols. Mrs. Smith received a certificate for a donated book from the Williamsburg Rotary Club in her name to the Williamsburg Regional library in appreciation for her services and her presentation.
