Rotary District Governor Susan Zachensky-Walthall visits Williamsburg Rotary

Susan Zachensky-Walthall, District 7600 Governor (DG) of 61 rotary clubs located across our Central & Southeastern, VA, had her official visit to Rotary Club of Williamsburg recently to meet our club board and members, and to present her district's objectives and goals for this year to "Be The Inspiration" for her district and for all of our clubs. This year our goal was chosen by Rotary International's President, Barry Rassin. DG Susan Z-W, that she has affectionately known, has been selected as Rotarian of the Year 2001, selected in 2007 as Rotarian of the Year and was awarded the District Governor's Award as Outstanding Club President in 2009-10. DG Z-W is a native of Alberta, Virginia, graduated from Old Dominion University and has worked for over 35 years as an instructor and Women's Basketball Coach in Virginia at Old Dominion University, Virginia Wesleyan University, Christopher Newport University (where she was also Assistant Athletic Director), and Sonoma State University in California. It was a pleasure having DG Z-W to meet our club and we now follow her guidance based on our goal ""Be The Inspiration."
