Williamsburg, VA (September 5, 2015) - School Crossing, an educational toy and teaching supply store, located in the Monticello Marketplace Shopping Center announced the winner of their 2015 Facebook Bulletin Board Contest.

During the month of August 2015, School Crossing sponsored a Facebook bulletin board contest which invited teachers from across Virginia to enter their classroom bulletin boards they would be using during the 2015-2016 school year. Teachers use classroom bulletin boards to enhance the students studies and to add fun and recognition to student tasks. Teachers were invited to post their bulletin board photographs at School Crossings' 2015 Facebook Bulletin Board Contest Photo Album. At the end of the contest the entry with the highest number of likes would win a $75.00 gift certificate to School Crossing.

This years winner was Megan Vay Wilder, a fourth grade teacher at North Elementary in Prince George, Virginia. Ms. Wilder advised, "I have my large bulletin board broken into three sections to address different classroom needs. The first section is my AR - Accelerated Reader board that tracks student progress throughout each quarter. The second is our calendar and class schedule. The last section focuses on our weather SOL. We will interact with the board throughout the unit. Above is a mini place value set to assist with our place value unit". Ms. Wilder received 263 "Likes" on the Facebook page which awarded her as the winner.
