Surrey Power Station VP speaks to Kiwanis

Fred Mladen, Site Vice President, Surrey Power Station recently addressed the Kiwanis Club Of Colonial Capital. In his talk, Fred described the operation and output of the power station and showed how nuclear power has tremendous advantages over other forms of power generation. His talk highlighted the safety programs in place which are designed to protect the public in the unlikely event of a station failure. Fred began his career at North Anna, VA Power Station in 1986 and assumed his present role in January, 2017.
