Veritas Prep School's Boys Basketball Team has a Winning Record after its First Season

Veritas Preparatory School in Williamsburg, VA, finished their first middle school boys basketball season with a winning record, 6-5. Their opponents included Walsingham Academy, St. Mary Star of the Sea, Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Williamsburg Christian Academy, Hampton Roads Academy, Trinity Lutheran School and Veritas School in Richmond. The team's eight players learned not only the fundamentals of basketball but also the importance of teamwork and discipline. Team standouts this year include Daniel Sabol as the school's Most Valuable Player (MVP) and Daniel Howerton as the Most Improved Player (MIP). Veritas Preparatory School looks forward to continuing their middle school team next year as well as adding a high school JV basketball team.
