Voter registration opportunities in James City County

As part of the League of Women Voters "Making Democracy Work" campaign, Williamsburg Area League members will register voters at many locations in the area in the coming weeks before the October 15 deadline to vote in Virginia's midterm elections on November 6.

On National Voter Registration Day, September 25th, local League volunteers registered first time voters who will be 18 by election day at all three local high schools (Jamestown, Lafayette and Warhill) during their lunch periods.

League members will also assist voters who want to register or update their registration if they have moved on:
• Tuesday, October 2, 8-10 am and 5-7 pm at James City County Recreation Center, 5301 Longhill Road
• Friday, October 5, 8-10 am at James City County Recreation Center, 5301 Longhill Road
• Monday, October 8, 10 am to Noon at Thomas Nelson Community College, 4601 Opportunity Way
