Walk & Talk: Butterfly Habitat in Bloom

Join Historic Rivers Master Naturalists President Adrienne Frank as she leads a Walk & Talk at York County's New Quarter Park on Saturday, June 23, from 10 am to noon. Be sure to bring your camera to photograph abundant butterflies on native plants blooming in the Butterfly Habitat at the park. The local Virginia Master Naturalists Chapter partnered with York County as they did with other local schools, parks, and neighborhoods to create native plant habitats for butterflies and other pollinators whose services are needed to insure food and a healthy environment. New Quarter Park is located at 1000 Lakeshead Drive near the Queen's Lake neighborhood.
