Chef Stephen P. Perkins, Sr., CEC, AAC, , was recently inducted into the American Academy of Chefs in New Orleans. The American Academy of Chefs is an honor society the American Culinary Federation created to distinguish its' most accomplished chefs within the organization. Only a small handful of chefs are inducted and must be nominated by two other academy members. Chef Perkins is currently Executive Chef at Waypoint Seafood and Grill and serves as Chairman of the Board for the Virginia Chefs Association
