We Need A Hero

Please note the Weekend Section in Wednesday's paper did not include a date.

Tuesday, May 28 at 10:00 a.m. Saint Bede Catholic Church

John W. 'Jack' Nicholson, a retired Brigadier General will give this presentation on his friend Captain Humbert "Rocky" Versace. You are invited to listen to General Nicholson as he shares the story of a young man who bravely served his Country, and did not abandon his values or beliefs despite the relentless torture by the Viet Cong. Captain Versace, a 1959 West Point graduate, served several tours in Vietnam and was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor in 2002 by President George W. Bush for his heroic actions while a prisoner of war. General Nicholson will be sharing 'the rest of the story' that makes Rocky a hero to inspire our young people. You will learn why Captain Versace personifies the West Point motto "Duty, Honor, Country" and is a true hero.

Tammy and Les Wallace, Patriots Triangle QOV will be presenting General Nicholson with a Quilt of Valor after his talk.
