Leadership by Design is a residential summer program designed to introduce high school students to leadership and social justice/community engagement at the college level. These rising 11th and 12th grade students from across the country gathered together for a week to experience building community, self-confidence, and teamwork in an environment with like-minded people. While volunteering at the Williamsburg ReStore these energetic young people did an amazing job of cleaning, measuring, and hanging donated rugs. They worked as a team and accomplished a great deal. We are grateful to William & Mary for including volunteer time at the Williamsburg ReStore in their curriculum for their week.
