Easter Sunday Service

For Easter Sunday at Williamsburg Baptist Church, the Reverend Daniel Willson will deliver his sermon titled "Finding Jesus at the Margins" based on text from Luke 24: 1-12. Resurrection life occurs in the places where the world (and oftentimes, the church) seem to least expect it. Reverend Willson will talk about how the resurrection proclamation is given to people at the margins. Also, congregants will participate in the "flowering of the cross" and children will enjoy an Easter egg hunt after the 11:00 service. Everyone is welcome at Williamsburg Baptist Church to participate in the worship service as well as the learning hour (Sunday School) which begins at 9:30 for adults and youth. Fellowship time including light refreshments is enjoyed by all before and after the worship service. Nursery care is provided for toddlers and infants. Williamsburg Baptist Church is located at 227 Richmond Road. For further information, call the church office at 757-229-1217.
