Williamsburg Businesses Help Bring Christmas to Virginia's Appalachians

The gracious businesses of Williamsburg have been assisting WorldCare Relief Ministry of Williamsburg in bringing Christmas to those in need in Buchanan County, Virginia in Appalachia for the last several years. In conjunction with assistance from Toys for Tots as well as vital local donations of toys, building supplies, baked goods and food, over 325 families have been able to enjoy a Christmas they would not have without this wonderful support.

This year, Food for Thought of 1647 Richmond Rd in town, has partnered with WorldCare Relief Ministry in gathering toy donations with a drop off location until December 20th. The truck departs Williamsburg Friday December 21, 2018 for a Saturday distribution and this year it is expected that donations will provide over 600 Children with Christmas in the heart of Virginia's coal country.
