Williamsburg DAR Member Wins National American Heritage Contest Award

The Williamsburg Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution is proud to announce that member Kim Defibaugh has won the DAR National 2nd Place Award for her wall hanging quilt entry "We Also Served", perfectly capturing the theme of commemorating the service of women in World War I. The American Heritage Committee was established to preserve our rich American heritage in the fields of art and sculpture, drama and literature, fiber arts, and music. This is Ms. Defibaugh's second national award from the Daughters of the American Revolution for her work in the fiber arts category.
