22 members of Williamsburg Presbyterian Church participated in The United Way Day of Caring on September 7th at the Jamestown Settlement. Among the projects they assisted with were stacking wood, mulching, moving bricks, sewing large mats for the Indian Village, making flowers and putting together craft projects for kids. Food was donated by area restaurants and served at the 4-H club with a delicious breakfast before work and a lunch of pizza, salad and dessert served mid-day. Many other churches and organizations participated in projects throughout the county. It was a great experience, appreciated by the Settlement, and WPC hopes to go back next year.
