Williamsburg Community Foundation is pleased to announce Workforce Scholarships, made possible through a generous grant from Ferguson, Inc. These scholarships are part of the W-JCC Scholarship Fund, a community-wide effort to support local students, established in 1974.
Workforce Scholarships of up to $1,000 will be awarded in 2019 for students interested in vocational or technical training. Specifically, these scholarships can help students planning to attend college or technical school towards a certificate or associates degree in the following areas:
• Automotive technology
• Mechanical engineering
Who is eligible to apply?
Recent W-JCC high school graduates (2015-2019) as well as veterans, and students who received a GED certificate may apply. Transcripts should be supplied from the school system where the high school diploma or GED was received.
