Ozzy Osbourne and his son Jack visited Colonial Williamsburg last week.

The two were in the historic area and at CW’s new musket range on Friday, said spokesman Joe Straw, who would not elaborate on the purpose of their visit.

“We were indeed thrilled to have Ozzy and Jack Osbourne visit the Revolutionary City on Friday,” Straw said. “Their visit underscores Colonial Williamsburg’s undiminished relevance and the broad appeal of our new and more engaging programming.”

Last month, the Black Sabbath frontman told Rolling Stone that the two have been filming a show for the History Channel, visiting places like Stonehenge; Roswell, New Mexico; Mount Rushmore and Havana, Cuba.

The father and son also appeared on “Meet the Osbournes,” a reality show about their family life, from 2002 to 2005.

They also made a stop at Second Street American Bistro for lunch on Thursday, when Ozzy took a photo with the employees of the restaurant. Ozzy returned on Saturday for filming, said restaurant assistant manager Blanche Watkins.

“It was fun,” she said. “The whole energy of the place changes when they have something like that going on.”
