Colonial Downs horse racing track closed in 2014 following a dispute between the owner, Jacobs Entertainment Inc. and the Virginia Horsemen Benevolent and Protective Association. On April 25, 2018, the track was purchased by Revolutionary Racing, based in Chicago.
