The winning Mega Millions lottery numbers drawn Friday night are 28, 30, 39, 59 and 70, with a Mega Ball of 10 and a Megaplier of 3.
There was one jackpot winner, according to the Mega Millions website. It did not list the state where the winning ticket was sold.
There were also eight winners for $1 million, and two winners for $3 million.
The Mega Millions jackpot for the upcoming Tuesday drawing now reverts back to the $40 million starting point.
The jackpot for Powerball, the other national lottery game, has also increased. It now stands at $570 million for the Saturday night drawing.
The jackpots for both lotteries refer to the annuity options for both games, in which payments are made over 29 years. Most winners opt for cash options, which would be $281 million for Mega Millions and $358.5 million for Powerball.
The odds of winning the Mega Millions jackpot is one in 302.5 million. Powerball has odds of one in 292.2 million.
Both games are played in 44 states plus Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Puerto Rico also participates in Powerball.
