New Eagle Scout

Joshua Creighton Stanton, son of Terry and Leslie Stanton of Williamsburg, recently achieved the rank of Eagle. He started his Scouting career as a Wolf Cub Scout in 2002 with Pack102, sponsored by Jamestown Presbyterian Church. He progressed through the Cub Scout ranks and bridged over to Troop 102. Joshua is junior at Jamestown High School. His Eagle Scout Project involved researching, planning, organizing, and leading members of Troop 102 in the installation of container gardens at Jamestown High for students to raise food for Avalon. Stanton has served in many positions of leadership, including 4-H counselor, member of the National English Honor Society, FBI Junior Agent program, assistant middle school youth group leader, eighth-grade orientation leader, church crucifer, and selected to take part in a National Lead America Health Care Conference at Johns Hopkins University. ..
