Chalk Festival

Jerry Dance, fine acrylic artist from Blackstone, is one of 20 featured artists at this Saturday, Sept. 28¿s New Town Chalk Art Festival. Pictured is his painting of an antique red car. Emily Christoff Flowers, children¿s book illustrator, author and quick sketch artist is also one of the featured artists. Artists¿ exhibits and live music from Nicole Belanus, Dennis O¿Riordan, and Annie Wade (Rich & Susie Martin) will be on the green of Sullivan Square behind Legacy Hall in New Town. Festival exhibits and viewing of the Chalk Art Competition throughout the day are free. Heritage Humane Society animals, fun bus and bounce house will be on site and free for kids from 1 to 4 p.m. Balloon creations and face-painting from 12 to 5 p.m. by Jennie Kelly for donations to the Heritage Humane Society.
