Sorority donates to foundation

Rosemary Trible ( in blue jacket) receives a donation to her Fear2Freedom Foundation, following a talk to the Williamsburg Kappa Kappa Gamma Alumnae Association and the Kappa active chapter at William and Mary. The number ¿two¿ represents the fact that someone is sexually assaulted in America every two minutes. Author of "Fear to Freedom," chronicling her journey from a rape victim to survivor, Trible is using her foundation to partner college campuses throughout Virginia with their local hospitals to provide assault victims with ¿care kits¿ containing clothing and toiletries. The audience included faculty personnel, as Trible explained her hope to bring her program to William and Mary in conjunction with Riverside Doctors' Hospital. The wife of former senator and current Christopher Newport University President Paul Trible, she is also planning to take her program into several other states. Local alumnae are pictured with T-shirts, a teddy bear and a child's backpack that are part of the Fear2Freedom kits assembled by college students and delivered to local hospitals.
