Past Williamsburg executives get SeaWorld promotions

Executives with past ties to Williamsburg have been promoted by SeaWorld Entertainment Inc., the parent company of Busch Gardens Williamsburg and Water Country USA.

The changes were announced by the company Friday.

Daniel B. Brown, formerly park president for Busch Gardens Williamsburg, was named as Chief Parks Operations Officer for SeaWorld, with operational oversight over all of the company's theme parks.

Donald W. Mills, another former park president at Busch Gardens Williamsburg was promoted to Orlando Park President, with authority over all Seaworld's Orlando parks - SeaWorld, Discovery Cove and Aquatica.

Current Orlando Park President Terry Prather, formerly General Manager at Water Country USA, became senior vice president for operations, with responsibility for safety, environmental, ride operations and standardization functions at all SeaWorld parks.
