After 36 years with the Williamsburg Area Association of Realtors, Linda Kinsman has retired.
Kinsman has served as CEO since 1981. During her time with the group, she oversaw computerization of the Multiple Listing System, established a real estate school, and brought a number of new technology innovations to both members and staff.
She earned the National Association of Realtors' e-Pro certification, and served on the NAR Issues Subcommittee in 2000.
At the state level, she served on numerous committees for the Virginia Association of Realtors, including most recently committees for Standard Forms, Awards Selection, Professional Development, Investment Management, Nominating, Risk Management, and Association Executives.
She served on the state Board of Directors in 2015 and 2006.

•The Greater Williamsburg Chamber & Tourism Alliance recently hired Kayla Kearse as the Public Relations & Social Media Specialist. She will work with Director of Membership, Tiffany Phillips, and Member Relations Manager, Victoria Schumacher, to work with members to promote the events happening in the Greater Williamsburg Area. Kearse previously worked at Daniel W. Hargraves CPA accounting firm in Virginia Beach.
