Colonial Williamsburg Antiques Forum will delve into stories of artifacts

Colonial Williamsburg will hold its 71st Antiques Forum Feb. 22-26. In addition to lectures, conference attendees can take advantage of optional guided tours and workshops.

British researcher Mike Rendell will lead a keynote presentation titled “Journal of a Georgian.” Other guest speakers will discuss topics such as jewelry and Baroque furniture, according to a Colonial Williamsburg news release.

Colonial Williamsburg presenters will discuss recent additions to the foundation’s collections and give lectures on the Continental dollar and glass work in Virginia.

There will be optional pre-conference bus trips to historic homes and post-conference workshops, the release states. Conference registration is $650. Discounts are available for museum professionals and students.
