The College of William and Mary will test its emergency siren and messaging system on Wednesday.

The tests will take place at 12:15 p.m. and include 120-decibel sirens and electronic messages, according to a William and Mary news release.

The sirens are based at the law school on South Henry Street and the school of education on Monticello Avenue, the release said.

In the event of a real emergency, the college’s website would have updated information, according to the release.
