Police have issued an arrest warrant for a Norfolk man charged with embezzling more than $4,000 in about four months from his employer at the Williamsburg Indoor Sports Complex.

Jackie Wayne Davis Jr has been charged with felony embezzlement, according to James City County Police Department spokeswoman Stephanie Williams.

On April 20, the owner of the Sidewinder Cafe in the WISC told police Davis had rung up orders, canceled them and pocketed the cash, Williams said.

Police found documentation of more than $4,000 in transactions between Jan. 1 and April 11 that Davis pocketed, Williams said.

If you or anyone you know has any information on Davis’s whereabouts, call the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.

Davis has ties to North Carolina and Tennessee, Williams said. He is believed to be driving a 2010 Dodge sedan with the Virginia license plate tag UUG-5902.
