A single-vehicle crash with minor injuries has disrupted traffic at the intersection of Longhill and Centerville roads, according to police.
Police were called to the intersection at 12:26 p.m. for the accident, according to James City County Police Department spokeswoman Stephanie Williams.
A downed powerline caused by the accident cut off power to the traffic signals at the intersection, Williams said.
Drivers on Longhill Road will not be able to access Centerville Road and vice-versa until the line is fixed, according to Williams. Motorists can still travel on Centerville Road.
The driver of the crashed vehicle was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries, Williams said.
Dominion Power estimates it will have the line fixed by 7 p.m., according to the company’s outage map.
More than 250 homes and businesses are without power near the intersection due to the crash.
